Why have fleet training?

Over 95% of all road traffic collisions are caused by human error. Driving for work is one of the most dangerous tasks that your staff will perform during their working day and with over 202,648 reported casualties of all severities in 2010 and that figure appears to be increasing for 2011.

You will want to ensure that your staff are driving safely and that your company is complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It is estimated that one in every three road traffic collisions involve somebody who is driving on work related business at the time and that figure does not include commuting.

What is fleet training?
Fleet driver training is a defensive driving course aimed at the company vehicle driver and is about improving your driver’s road awareness, anticipation and planning skills which will take them to a more advanced level.
